Introducing the Becoming a Stress-Free Nurse Practitioner Podcast

Welcome to the Becoming a Stress-Free Nurse Practitioner podcast with Sarah Michelle!

Becoming A Stress-Free Nurse Practitioner is the one show that covers everything you need to make the transition from RN to NP as seamless as possible.

Creating this podcast for nurse practitioners and those training to become practitioners has been a long-term goal of mine, I’m so excited to be providing resources that will not only benefit you as a nurse practitioner student but also when you make that giant leap into becoming a brand new nurse practitioner and enter that difficult phase of transitioning into practice.

Join me and my guests as we dive deep into what you need to know before taking your exam and after passing your exam too! Each week we’ll cover topics such as how to pass your nurse practitioner exam the first time, overcoming test anxiety, writing your resume, negotiating contracts, and honing your actual craft as a new nurse practitioner. If you are ready to become the confident clinician you know you were meant to be, then this is the podcast for you.

To celebrate the launch of the show, I’m giving away a Medelita gift card to two lucky listeners, so you can go get yourself a gorgeous white coat when you’re ready. Keep reading to find out how to enter!

Listen to the first episodes:

Ep #1: Don’t Give Up: The Journey to Becoming a Stress-Free Nurse Practitioner – On my inaugural episode I share my journey through nursing school, and how I help my clients navigate this incredibly challenging time for themselves. I’m discussing what led me to almost quit while I was still a student, how I overcame that challenge, and why you are capable of being an amazing nurse, whatever you’re going through right now.

Ep #2: Level Up Your Résumé with Dr. Veronica Sampayo [NEW NP] – If you want the lowdown on what will put you ahead of other applicants and how to level up your résumé, listen in to this episode with the résumé-polishing guru and my personal friend, Veronica Sampayo, affectionately known as Dr. V. She’ll be sharing her insights on how to prepare to show up as the best representation of yourself, and her unique perspective as the interviewer on the other side who knows what employers are looking for is going to be a game-changer for you.

Ep #3: Picking Yourself Back Up with Jennifer K. [NP STUDENT] – Join us on this episode to get a peek into what Jennifer’s nursing journey looks like and how she picked herself back up after failing her exams twice to finish strong on her third try. I know many of you are going to resonate with her story, and her tips will get you inspired in thinking about how to best guarantee success for yourself.
